  • Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera is a magical remedy for skin but, its wonders are not limited to skin care, hair care, and health. It is also a potent remedy for removing oil stains from clothes.

Soak the cloth in water and let it stay for some time. Now, rub aloe vera gel on the stain. Rinse the cloth thoroughly and dry it.

  • Shampoo

Shampoo not just cleans the dirt deposited in your hair but, also cleans the oil stains deposited on your clothes. Removing oil from clothing using shampoo is one of the easiest ways to remove oil stains.
You just need to take some shampoo in a smaller amount. Rub the shampoo on the oil stains and then rinse it with water. Viola! The stain is gone.

  • Toothpaste

Just like toothpaste cleans, whitens and brightens your teeth, it also helps in cleaning of oil stains from your clothes. It is a remedy to remove oil stains from cotton clothes.
Take some toothpaste, apply it over the stain and scrub the stain using a toothbrush. Wash it with water, and you will see that the oil stain has disappeared.

  • Lemon

Lemon has earned a reputation as a great bleaching agent. It helps in lightening the stains from the cloth and removes the stain completely. This is also an easy remedy to follow.

All you need is a piece of lemon to remove the ugly oil stains from the clothes. Just rub the lemon on the stain. Squeeze the lemon to let all the juices come out and seep into the stained cloth. Scrub the rind of lemon on the stain to remove the excess oil. Now, let the cloth to dry. If you still see the stain, rub more lemon on it. And, finally, wash the cloth. The stain will be gone.

  • Hot Water

Oil doesn’t mix with water. When hot water is poured on the oil, it breaks the oil and helps in removing oil from clothing.
For this remedy, take a tub and place the oil stained cloth in the tub. Boil some water. Now, pour the scalding hot water on the stain. For the stubborn stain, take an old toothbrush and scrub it over the stain to remove excess oil. Rub the toothbrush on both the sides of the cloth.

Now, take a dish washing liquid containing lemon. With a sponge rub it over the stain. Let it stay for few minutes and wash off with water to remove the stain completely.
